Jonathan Schuerholz,
Atlanta Braves Advanced Scout
Jonathan Schuerholz has been an Atlantan since 1991 and currently serves as an Advanced Scout for the Atlanta Braves. A 1999 graduate of The Lovett School, he went on to become a three-year starting middle infielder at Auburn University. Following his junior season, he was selected by the Braves in the eighth round of the 2002 MLB Draft.
Jonathan continued his professional playing career until 2007, when he chose to retire and return to Auburn to complete his degree. After graduating in 2008, he joined the Braves’ minor league coaching staff and has since held several leadership roles, including Assistant Director of Player Development and Assistant Director of Pro Scouting.
Jonathan and his wife, Jennifer, live in the Vinings area and are the proud parents of two sons, Boland (12) and Ward (9), both students at Lovett.
