Sarah Hawkins Warren,

Presiding Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Justice Sarah Hawkins Warren has extensive experience in constitutional and appellate law. Before joining Georgia’s high court in 2018, she served as the state’s Solicitor General, advocating cases before both state and federal courts—including the U.S. Supreme Court. A Duke University alumna in both undergraduate and law school, she practiced in Washington, D.C., and clerked for federal judges before returning to Georgia to devote her career to public service.

In her presentation, she will explore how both judges and citizens share responsibility in preserving the rule of law.
